The third season is coming out this month, continuing the story laid out in Sherryl Woods' romantic book series, and fans were recently treated to a trailer that reveals some of the storylines explored in the upcoming chapter of Sweet Magnolias.

5. Kyle's feelings for Annie grow stronger
Based on the trailer, we can conclude that Kyle, the youngest son of Maddie and Bill, still has feelings for the daughter of Dana Sue, Annie, who in turn has feelings for his brother. Looks like we're in for a full-blown love triangle!
4. 'Tannie' fans should get excited
Against this backdrop, the dynamic between Kyle's brother, Tyler, and Annie only gets stronger, and the trailer gives us a glimpse into their whirlwind romance. Will Annie end up with Kyle, Ty, or neither of them? Only time will tell, but clearly, the new season will devote plenty of screen time to this love drama.
3. Noreen's storyline continues
Speaking of unpleasant aspects, fans are clearly not happy about another appearance by Noreen. She was the pregnant fiancée of Bill, Maddie's ex-husband, but left him when she found out that he still had feelings for Maddie and put his children first. She may even grow closer to Maddie in the coming season.
2. Maddie and Cal's romance is rekindled
It looks like the drama between Maddie and Cal Maddox, her son Ty's baseball coach, will continue to escalate, especially after the infamous brawl at Sullivan's. Whether the two will stay together is debatable, although most fans are looking forward to this romantic storyline.
1. Helen and Ryan face another drama
On the contrary, viewers are disappointed with this new development, hinted at in the trailer, which sees Helen getting back together with her first love Ryan. Fans think that she is much more emotionally mature than him and the two simply don't have much chemistry. While it's great that Helen is going to have more screen time in the upcoming season, we think she'd be better off with Eric, as their relationship was very deep and sensual.
