It's hard to pick Elisabeth Moss' best roles: the actress is so brilliant, and her agent is so good at picking projects, that you can watch any movie or TV series with her in it – and Moss will be great. The actress began acting in the 1990s and over time became the queen of television.

1. Shining Girls, 2022

Kirby is an archivist at the Chicago Sun-Times. Years ago, she was brutally attacked and left for dead, but the perpetrator was never found.

As time passes, she can't forget the incident, but the reality around her suddenly begins to change: she makes new friends, and familiar things cease to exist. In an attempt to understand what is happening, Kirby enlists the help of reporter Dan.

Together they find several unsolved murders that are clearly linked to the same person. The problem is that they were all committed at different times, decades apart.

2. The Invisible Man, 2020

In the middle of the night, architect Cecilia flees the luxurious mansion of her domineering boyfriend, optical engineer Adrian. He has no intention of letting her go, considering her his property, but she manages to escape and hides out with a friend.

Brave but inexperienced, she leads an investigation in a town where she herself experienced traumatic events several years ago. Robin must not only find the missing girl, but also solve her own problems that have long haunted her.

5. Queen of Earth, 2015

Catherine is having a hard time dealing with her breakup with James, who left her for another woman. In an attempt to escape her current situation, she decides to spend a week at a secluded lake house with her longtime friend Virginia.

Gradually, the two women begin to harbor a deep, hidden sense of resentment, and the mood in the house changes dramatically when Virginia invites Rich over, as if in revenge for Catherine bringing James last year.
