In 2012, in honour of Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee, Kate visited Tuvalu, an independent Polynesian nation in Oceania that is part of the Commonwealth. Middleton wore beautiful yet understated Athena Azuni London drop earrings during her visit. The handcrafted earrings are 22-karat gold on brass and feature mesmerising aqua chalcedony gemstones.

2. Shelley Silversmith
In 2016, Kate and her husband, Prince William, visited Carcross, a community owned by the indigenous Carcross and Tagish people in Yukon, Canada. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a simple yet elegant pair of handmade earrings by designer Shelley MacDonald of Whitehorse, Yukon.
The Ulu earrings, inspired by the traditional Inuit knife of the same name, are made of bronze, and the ear wire is silver. They can be purchased on Etsy for just $52.

One of Kate's favourite brands is undoubtedly Accessorize, as she has several of their earrings in her collection. And much to the surprise of royal family fans, they are more than affordable.
In 2019, for example, the Duchess of Cambridge appeared with her family at the Back to Nature Garden, a public space designed in collaboration with Kate herself and owned by the Royal Horticultural Society. She wore the incredibly subtle yet stunning Polly Petal Drop earrings, which feature gold-plated metal petals and pale pink gemstones.
