12 Biggest Celeb Contestants In The Masked Singer History, Ranked
The Masked Singer has seen some pretty iconic celebrities anonymously competing in colorful, over-the-top, identity-concealing costumes.
Some competitors shocked themselves and the audience with their talent, whilst others were essentially told to stick to what they know best. We ranked the 12 Biggest Celebrities to appear on the show so far, starting with the worst.
12. Mama June and Honey Boo Boo as Beach Ball (Season 6)
The reality TV stars took to the stage to perform Miley Cyrus' hit song 'Party in the USA' as part of their wild card entry. Despite their high energy and enthusiasm, their performance fell woefully short in the singing department. Fans were quick to label them as an 'off-key duet,' and some even went as far as to call them the worst performers in the show's history.
11. Caitlyn Jenner as Phoenix (Season 5)
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star crashed and burned, with her performance being compared to a horror film. All that mattered to her, was that she had fun, and she certainly did (at the audience's expense).
10. Danny Trejo as Raccoon (Season 5)
His performance went completely off script and featured some seriously bad vocals, but the action movie star and restaurateur made for one of the most memorable and unexpected contestants on the show.
9. Mickey Rourke (Season 4)
If any contestant was going to break the rules, it would be American actor and former boxer Mickey Rourke, who pulled off the head of his Gremlin costume after his performance, causing his immediate elimination. According to him, the fluffy, elaborate costume was too 'hot.'
8. Howie Mandel (Season 9)
'The NFL will call because they haven't booked anyone for the halftime show next year. I'm sure I'll get a lot of calls.'
After spending so long behind the judging panel, fans were surprised and delighted to see comedian, actor and TV host Howie Mandel unmasked on stage. The America's Got Talent judge delivered one of the most memorable, comedic performances to date.
8. Bella Thorne as Swan (Season 3)
The judges could not identify the former Disney star and actress, who later revealed that she was sick during her final performance on the show, which perhaps played a role in her elimination.
7. Lele Pons as Jackalope (Season 9)
The social media star, actress, and singer entered the competition as she wanted to try something new and exciting. She revealed that she had been impersonating Shakira since she was little, and loved expressing herself through song and dance.
6. Wendy Williams as Lips (Season 4)
'I can't sing, I can't dance, but I know how to have fun!' The American media personality certainly wasn't wrong. She made the most of her time on the show, complete with laughter, snorting and even stopping to talk during her performance. Her singing may not have been great, but she had viewers in stitches.
5. Lil Wayne as Robot (Season 3)
Lil Wayne was one of the most shocking reveals on the show. One of the greatest rappers of all time tried to step into the Rock genre with his performance of 'Are You Gonna Go My Way' by Lenny Kravitz. He may have fallen short on his Rock performance, but he didn't fail to rank as one of the most shocking reveals on the show, if not the most famous celebrity to appear on the show.
4. Chris Daughtry (Season 2)
The former American Idol contestant and lead vocalist for the rock band Daughtry came in second place in his season. As a Comic-Con regular, Chris is no stranger to wearing costumes and loved the anonymity the show gave him and described it all as an incredible experience.
3. LeAnn Rimes as Sun (Season 4)
As the Sun, the two-time Grammy winner did not stop shining and eventually took home the title of Season 4 Winner. Her acapella version of Billie Eilish’s 'When The Party's Over' was dubbed one of the best of all time, and fans are begging for her to release a cover of it.
2. Kandi Burruss as Night Angel (Season 3)
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and former member of vocalist group Xscape was surprised to be Season 3's winner, but she certainly deserved it. Fans went crazy over her cover of 'How to Love' and she never failed to deliver outstanding performances.
1. T-Pain (Season 1)
For T-Pain, the Masked Singer was a chance to prove his vocal prowess and silence critics who had previously criticized his use of Auto-tune in his music. His performance of Sam Smith's 'Stay with Me' was nothing short of exceptional and moved the audience to tears.
As a rapper and producer who has topped the charts, T-Pain emerged as the winner of Season 1, and loved having the opportunity to perform anonymously and free from any preconceived opinions and biases.
